THE HOUSE OF SHEM STORY

FROM WHĀNAU
TO THE WORLD.

Whanganui · Aotearoa · Since 2005

THREE VOICES · ONE FOUNDATION

A family sound
built to travel.

House of Shem is an Aotearoa New Zealand harmony group founded by the late Carl Perkins with his sons Te Omeka Perkins and Isaiah Perkins. The music brings together roots reggae, Pacific reggae, traditional Māori influence, faith and family.

What began through whānau, local stages and relentless musicianship grew into albums, festivals and international touring. The three-part harmony became unmistakable: warm, spiritual, direct and grounded in home.
